Our machines are designed and realized to produce, by low pressure system, aluminium and magnesium components as automotive, naval and aerospace structural parts. In respect of the different characteristics of the used mould the machine can be fitted for reaching the optimal performances in cycle-time and quality terms.

The plant is composed as follows:
Tubular steel frame
Press to move the mould
Holding furnace
Mould cooling circuits
Hydraulic circuit
Electrical and control boards
Computerized control system

The furnace lid is designed to host one or two raiser tubes, according the casting requirements. The tubes can have different positions along the furnace horizontal axis, depending on the type of mould used. According to these positions, a special support to be positioned on the furnace opening is necessary each time.

Heating system:
Option a) The furnace is heated with three silicon carbide heating elements, (40 KW maximum power) with specialprotection tubes. The furnace is provided with three thermocouples to control the temperature of the molten alloy, of heating elements and furnace vault; each one can be easily replaced.
A thermo regulator manages the feeding system, guaranteeing an accurate control of the bath temperature


Option b) The furnace heating is carried out by 27 armoured resistances placed on the furnace lid for a total electrical power of 32 kW about. The resistance position allows replacing them very quickly when necessary, in fact it is sufficient to have a spare cover to restart the production in some hours.
The furnace is equipped with thermocouples for the melted bath and resistances temperature control, which are easy to replace from outside.
